November 06, 1935 is regarded as a memorable date in Iran's insurance industry. Actually, it marks the establishment of Bimeh Iran (Iran Insurance Co.), as the first-ever national Iranian insurance enterprise and, thus, the founding of this country's national insurance industry.

Bimeh Iran operates in all branches of Life and Non-life businesses. The company holds over 50% of the national market share by offering commercial and personal coverage, including the Auto, Fire ( property) , Marine cargo, Engineering all risk and Liability lines.
Moreover, Bimeh Iran has underwritten the due risks involved in the majority of Iran’s infrastructural projects, such as those in oil, natural gas, petrochemical and aviation industries, dams and power plants. This Company with a capital of £ 48,600,000.00, of which 99% belongs to Iran Insurance Co., has been active in the European insurance markets since 1975.
Bimen Iran has around 11 overseas branches and agencies, especially in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman, etc. For the past 40 years, Bimeh Iran has been providing overseas services to satisfy customers around the world since establishing the Company’s U.A.E. A branch in Dubai, which now also acts as the administration and supervision office for all the branches or agencies located in the United Arab Emirates, Sultanate of Oman and Dammam.
