The Course on Maritime and Transport Law consists of lectures aiming to provide students with general insight and basic knowledge regarding all branches of Transport law, with special emphasis on the Maritime law. The Course explains the position of Transport law within the system of legal and economic sciences. Students are introduced to the basics of international maritime trade as well as other transport branches: inland waterways, road, rail and air transport. Lectures include an overview of the new market trends in the international trade of goods, and characteristics of the multi modal transport. Additionally, Transport law examines the protection of passengers' rights within the domestic and international transport by sea, road, rail and air.
