The amount of claims cleared by “engineering insurance” in the last fiscal year (ended March 20) increased by 37.6% to around 6 trillion rials compared with the previous year, the Central Insurance Company of Iran announced, IRNA reported on Saturday.  According to the Insurance Electronic Monitoring Platform, SANHAB, during the past Iranian year 1.15 million insurance policies were sold in the category of Professional Liability Insurance (PLI).
